The beauty cabin started 2015
I decided I wanted to go back to work once my youngest child was starting school but wanted my own business venture, so I took the plunge sold my motorbike and brought a cute little log cabin, it took two weeks of hard work but it happened !! The beauty cabin was up, now all I needed was clients!
So out came the trainers and my backpack, I walked all the villages around the area, and all of a sudden I was having phone calls day and night for appointments, Christmas came and yes it was busy and tiring but I was so happy with how this had taken off.
Easter came and went, and summer started, unfortunately that's where the log cabin came to a sad end.
New beginnings
Summer was tough but I wasn’t going to let all my hard work go waste, I managed to keep most of my clients, either visiting them at home or using a lovely room in Bovey Tracy my friend said I could use whilst I got my feet back on the ground and found my next beauty premises, so I was using Dainton park golf for a resting point whilst travelling to and from Brixham, work and taking the children to school, sat drinking my coffee I noticed building work going on !!!! So my thoughts were “Beauty at Dainton” oh my gosh, that's it, here I am and an opportunity is right under my nose, so I managed to get a meeting with Daniel and Wim and asked "what they were going to do with the new space and would they take a chance on me moving my business here?" and guess what? they said yes.
I feel so lucky that I was given the opportunity to come here to Dainton Park and be part of the team and continue growing The Beauty Cabin, I am surrounded by the best people who we call the Dainton family.
Meet the Team
Emily fleming
Hi I am Emily I have 18 years of beauty experience. I have learnt a lot through the years of working, from waitressing to cleaning dog kennels, leisure assistant/lifeguard, hairdressers to beauty, the most important thing for me is that every person I meet feels as important as the next person coming through the door.
The Beauty Salon name can feel so intimidating to people, you know that feeling of “oh my god here she comes all make up and vanity, well I pride myself on being the complete opposite, we all want to feel nice and one thing I would hate is for that new person having that intimidating feeling coming through the door, I can assure you that won’t happen here (cheesy but true) I really enjoy every part of my job from meeting people to doing all the treatments, my speciality is skin treatments as I love tailoring each individual treatment to suit my clients and seeing great results. Qualifications
NVQ 2&3 in Beauty Therapy (all standard beauty treatments + physiology and anatomy). Extra Qualifications - Dermalogica Skin Expert and stockist Sienna X spray tanning, Studex Ear piercing, SHR laser Hair Removal, Hot Wax Treatments, Shellac with CND, Hot stone Massage, Advanced skin treatments microneedling, luminfusion,and New LED light therapy.
Michael O'Hagan
We are pleased to introduce to you an exciting new collaboration with Michael O'Hagan BDS, meaning we can now offer our clients a range of facial aesthetics procedures form within the Beauty Cabin. Michael is the owner and Principal dentist at Tawstock Dental Care, a private Dental practice in Teignmouth. After graduating from the University of Glasgow with a degree in Dentistry in 2000, Michael spent 8 years developing his knowledge and skills in general practice.
During this time he expanded the range of treatments he is able to provide by completing training in Facial Aesthetics. In 2015 Michael relocated to the South West with his wife and young family and took ownership of Tawstock. He's since been building a name for himself and the Practice known for his exceptional level of patient care and the quality of treatment.
Michael is currently able to offer:
Anti-wrinkle treatments (using BOTOX injections)
Dermal Fillers and lip augmentation
Hyperhidrosis - Sweat reduction

Botox: Facial areas include frown lines (above nose), forehead (vertical lines) or eyes (Crows feet)
1 Area = £200
2 Areas = £250
3 Areas = £300
Hyperhidrosis Excessive sweating = From £300 per armpit.
Dermal Fillers: Lip augmentation, mouth creases and nose to mouth lines.
From £250 depending on product (1ml syringe)
